About the Opportunity:

We’re seeking a highly motivated junior design professional with a passion for learning and a drive to grow. This role is ideal for a junior Architect/Technician/Engineer with two years of post-graduate experience.

You will have a team of dynamic leaders and experienced professionals within your team and the broader business to learn from, with an extensive pipeline of challenging projects to work on. This opportunity will be best suited to someone who has a passion and strong interest in design and construction innovation, as it offers you diverse exposure to new business, design development, contracts, procurement, quality, safety and site operations.

 

What you will support the design team with:

  • Assisting and providing coordination support to the Design Manager and team, ensuring that design projects run smoothly and are transitioned to the construction team with efficiency
  • Liaising with Consultants and Clients providing feedback as needed
  • Collaborating with designers, engineers and consultants in a broad range of disciplines including Civil, Structural, Hydraulic, Fire, Electrical, Roofing
  • Collaborating on multiple projects simultaneously

What You Need To Excel In The Role

What you will need to succeed:

  • 2+ years minimum of post-graduate experience in Architecture, Structural, Civil or Services Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and information – this is a skill you’ll frequently use and refine
  • Solid understanding of and ability to review & edit construction drawings
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality work
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, along with adaptability to new IT systems, changing priorities, and evolving needs
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Bring enthusiasm, a positive frame of mind, and a strong willingness to learn
  • Exposure to the construction industry is highly beneficial
