About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced construction professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial awareness, project coordination skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, resources, procurement, subcontractors, project documentation and technical requirements to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to design development, construction methodologies, innovation and improved project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management and successful delivery of construction projects.
  • Monitor budgets, costs and project expenditure.
  • Manage procurement of materials, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate project programs, resources and site activities.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
  • Provide technical and design input from tender through to construction.
  • Resolve design, technical and construction issues.
  • Direct staff and contractors on technical and program requirements.
  • Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability.

What You Need To Excel In The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • 10+ years’ construction/project experience.
  • 2–5 years’ supervision and/or project management experience.
  • Experience in a Design & Construct environment.
  • Commercial and/or Industrial project experience preferred.
  • Strong construction methodology, technical and commercial knowledge.
