Project Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual for a key role in our construction projects. As we continue to strive for excellence, we’re looking for a Project Engineer who shares our commitment to quality and safety. This role will also encompass responsibilities as a Site Engineer, ensuring construction is carried out within the project’s technical specifications and maintaining documentary evidence of Quality Assurance compliance. Whilst this is primarily a Perth-based role, regular site travel is required to metro projects to support specific site activities.

Based in our Balcatta office in the early design and procurement stages of the project, you will then play a major role on site when critical works commence. Your role will be to assist with the technical and practical design and construct elements of industrial and commercial projects valued from $75M +.

Purpose of Position:

  • To ensure construction is carried out within the project’s technical specifications and that documentary evidence of Quality Assurance compliance is maintained.
  • To plan, coordinate and safely execute the construction project on site by efficient deployment of resources within time, budget and other measured performance criteria.

  • Assist with on-site management to ensure project success.
  • Tracking and monitoring the budget and making recommendations on expenditure.
  • Altering project methods to attempt to increase project profits/reduce project losses as directed.
  • Co-ordinate program and resourcing schedules.
  • Manage procurement of all required materials & Subcontractors.
  • Preparation of project documentation and procedures.
  • Resolve technical issues with design & construction methodologies.
  • Direct staff and contractors on technical requirements and program related issues and methodologies.
  • Serve as an interface at the site level with clients.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3 – 5 years post qualification Project experience with supervision & project management experience of 2-5 years
  • Successful experience with multi-disciplinary projects including mechanical
  • Construction Safety competencies
