About The Role

Q Design and Construct is a growing National construction company based in Balcatta, with over 70 fabulous people who make up the team. We are known for our commitment to innovation and dedication to delivering high-quality construction solutions to our clients.

We are seeking a highly organised Office Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our office. The Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our office and will be responsible for managing various aspects, including procurement, office organization, IT support, fleet management, employee onboarding, accommodation and travel bookings, security, and building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement of office supplies, equipment, furniture, and maintain cost-effective supplier relationships.
  • Oversee company fleet, including maintenance, repairs, scheduling, and compliance with safety/registration requirements.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures; provide administrative support to Executive Leaders and Directors.
  • Provide IT support, including troubleshooting, procurement, upgrades, licensing, and hardware/software maintenance.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, including account setup, access permissions, equipment, and training.
  • Arrange and manage staff travel and accommodation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policy.
  • Implement office security protocols; oversee building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and coordination with external providers.

What You Need To Excel In The Role

  • Proven experience in office management or a related role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software support.
  • Familiarity with procurement and supplier management.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a well-organised office.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently
