In this project, QDC designed and constructed a warehouse and office facility for a transport logistics depot in Wedgefield, Port Hedland.

The works comprised 1,400m² of warehouse space, a 600m² two-storey office and 25,000m² of hardstand. Polyutherene (fridge) panels were used in the construction of the office facility in order to reduce the power consumption from air-conditioning required in the Pilbara. We assisted the client in council and Landcorp negotiations during the approvals stage and provided innovative design solutions to maximise the functional use of the site. The facility was successfully delivered in under six months, during cyclone season.
