Winning the MBA Award for ‘Best Industrial Building $20M-$50M’ and ‘Excellence in Efficiency’ in its category Mainfreight’s new purpose-built 57,000m² facility, comprising 20,000sqm warehouse, 2,500m² of office, including a cool room, a commercial grade kitchen and a container hardstand, reached practical completion July 2023, just 12 months from the commencement of works. It represents the latest innovation and technologies and the highest sustainability standards to deliver a new benchmark in warehouse distribution facilities.

Environmental features include a 700kW rooftop solar system, LED and motion sensor lighting, smart metering to reduce energy consumption, rainwater harvesting capable of servicing the entire facility (potable & irrigation), and electric vehicle charging bays for passenger vehicles.

The latest tenant to join Roe Highway Logistics Park, Hesperia & QDC’s collaborative approach highlights the great example of how the D&C delivery model met the current and future needs of Mainfreight.
