Austal Ships engaged QDC to construct a heavy-duty ship launch slipway at their ship building facility in Henderson. The slipway was integral to facilitate the launch of a new super ferry, which resulted in an extremely tight deadline being set by the client.

This project involved the replacement of the existing wedged slipway to upgrade the load capacity to 2,000T. QDC utilised innovative construction methods, surveying, 3D Modelling, in addition to detailed and accurate planning to deliver this marine project in just half of the time allocated to us by the client.
