Project Engineer

About The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual for a key role in our construction projects. As we continue to strive for excellence, we’re looking for a Project Engineer who can demonstrate achievement of the Design and Procurement phases of a project and who shares our commitment to quality and safety.
Whilst this is primarily a Perth-based role, regular site travel is required to support specific site activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with on-site management to ensure project success.
  • Tracking and monitoring the budget and making recommendations on expenditure.
  • Altering project methods to attempt to increase project profits/reduce project losses as directed.
  • Co-ordinate program and resourcing schedules.
  • Manage procurement of all required materials & Subcontractors.
  • Preparation of project documentation and procedures.
  • Resolve technical issues with design & construction methodologies.
  • Direct staff and contractors on technical requirements and program related issues and methodologies.
  • Serve as an interface at the site level with clients.

What You Need To Excel In The Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 3 – 5 years post qualification, Project experience with supervision & project management experience of 2-5 years
  • Successful experience with multi-disciplinary projects including mechanical
  • Construction Safety competencies
