Barry Beach Marine Terminal – VIC

About The Role

Currently living or looking to relocate to Victoria? QDC has multiple exciting roles available to kick off a major project. We are delivering a major upgrade at Barry Beach Marine Terminal in South Gippsland, Victoria. The works include strengthening wharves, installing large-diameter steel piles, constructing heavy-duty concrete slabs, flexible pavements, drainage upgrades, and ground stabilisation. These upgrades are critical to support our long term client’s preparation for one of the most significant offshore transitions in decades—the safe decommissioning of aging Bass Strait oil and gas platforms.

This is a high-profile project that combines scale, complexity, and innovation, offering candidates the opportunity to work on a landmark marine and civil engineering challenge.

About QDC:

Our growth over the last 10 years has been intentional and measured, built in partnership with our clients and consistently high-performing subcontractors, extending across almost all states of Australia. We offer rewarding career experiences, competitive remuneration packages, and a fast-paced environment where you’ll learn and grow alongside passionate leaders.

While our niche focus has traditionally been on design and construct projects delivering innovative solutions that challenge the status quo this project is a little different. It’s an extremely exciting opportunity to work on one of Victoria’s most significant marine infrastructure upgrades, combining civil and structural works at scale.

Our projects span Perth metro, regional WA, and interstate locations, including bulk storage facilities, warehousing, commercial buildings, and now onshore marine and civil works. This Barry Beach Marine Terminal upgrade is a landmark project that will set new benchmarks for complexity and collaboration.
